As part of its fund raising activities the Group wishes to create interesting and informative displays. 

It also wishes to create an permanent display upon completion of the project. 

Do any members of the public have any photographs from times past? If so would you be willing to lend them to the Group so they can be copied and used?  If so, please contact us.

East Anglian Rail Services under new Operators

As local residents will know the rail services in East Anglia have now been taken over by the Dutch company Abellio and now operate as GreaterAbellio have also assumed responsibility for station property.  This is a bit of a set back for the Group because although the Group had reached an agreement with Network Rail about an initial two year tenancy followed by a long lease, we have now to reach a new agreement with Abellio’s agent.  The Group has written to them and we are awaiting a response.

Trimley Station Window Display

This is a photo of the excellent display in the window of Ashton Graham's Solicitors at the corner of Hamilton Road and Orwell Road in Felixstowe that has been put together by Trimley Station Friends Rosemary Gitsham and Colin De'Ath and is well worth visiting.
